hey!
so it's been 4 days since i've arrived back to my hometown in BA.
so far, it's okay.
but it's getting more and more bosan by the minute.
i can tell you this. the national zoo has gone through a makeover! haha.
yeah. went there with my family last sunday. what can i say? i have a close family.
i know, you might say zoos are for kids. but i love zoos. especially well-preserved zoo. which the national zoo is not, unfortunately. the last time i went there was 2006, doing a school project. so, rindulah. but the parking lot is still the same. haha.
difference i noticed at the national zoo:
- it's not using the ticket system anymore. now they use the armband system. you know, the one they make as a bracelet with barcodes? uh, the one they are also using at cosmos times square?
- the surroundings are way lot better then what they offered me during my last visit. yay!
- no more merrybrown. now they only got this fastfood called 'the wild'. which does not have enough efficient crews and does not cook good fastfood, even if it was frozen food that they only had to pop them inside the oven. even i, the worse cook ever, can cook better than them.
- they have upgraded the aquarium! i've always had a thing with fishes in aquariums, so for me it's awesome! haha.. i went in there like a nosy, curious little girl, asking this and that to my mum and sis. those fishes were beautiful. wee..
- there were more ice-cream booths! sponsored by walls! hidup biar sedap!
- there were penguins! i only see two, tapi saya suka.
- tiada lagi memerang. how sad.. i still have that picture of me and the memerang swimming in the pool. now it's gone. killed and safely cooked, maybe. its pool is now super-dirty and filled with moss, which is gross.
and that's about it, maybe. i'll add some more details if i ever recall them, aite?
and i've only reunited with one buddie since i've been home. nadiah. only because she invited me for makan-makan at her house. if not, it's no one. my life isawesome, but i am pathetic. figures.
