basikal kepang.

hahah.. sound wierd, isn't it? but that is my word of the day.
it was last evening, i was going for a walk with my sisters. well, i'm the one who had to do all the walking, my sisters were on their bikes. we were taking the path up the hill to go to the park in my housing area. and so, since my youngest sister has no balance yet to ride her tricycle, i had to push her up the hill to catch up with her other sisters. and so i went. as we reached the top of the hill, jazlina suddenly decides not to ride the bike anymore. she jumped from the tricycle in an attempt to chase her sisters on foot (def:running of course!) as the road we were at was a main road, so of course there were cars coming in and out. and i was scared to death that one of us, especially jazlina since she's miniscule, might be hit by the cars. so, everytime a car passes by, i would scream to my sisters, who were less than one metre from where i was standing, to be alert of the cars. then, as we were heading back home, jazlina decides to run (maybe she thinks running downhill would be really amusing) instead of using her bike. and guess who had to carry that tricycle back home? ME. at first i tried to ride on the tricycle since we were going downhill, so i did not have to paddle at all, but finally i realized that bike might get serious damage if i continue riding it, considering my weight and the maximum weight the tricycle was able to carry. and, since the tricycle was quite petite and light, so halfway though i decided to lift the tricycle up and carry it back home (i mean, who can stand pushing a bike half his height and had to bend forward while doing that, right?). as i was doing just that, i just spoke the word out loud, "basikal kepang" since my actions reminded me so much to the kuda kepang performance. the dancers of the show would carry paper cutouts of a horse while performing the dance, while i carry a bike down the hill. haha..
