now that i can see.

yesterday i lost my second set of eyes. in case you don't get it, it's my spectacles lah!
yea, it seems like the months of February and March of 2009 are my stuff-missing month.
come to look at it,

• i lost my wallet in February 09.
• i lost my set of hostel keys in March 09.
• i lost my pendrive in March 09.
• i lost my spectacles in March 09.

Luckily, i had managed to recover two of those items, eventhough there were things missing in my wallet when i found it. i wonder where my keys and my pendrive went. that pendrive of mine was bought in 2007, if i'm not mistaken. why did it decide to run away from me now, after i have took care of it so well all these years? i carried it with me everywhere i go, as if it is my most precious thing. aku cinta pendriveku. ke mana kau menghilang sayangku? hahah.

okay, back to my specs. i woke up, get dressed for class, and pack my stuffs, as usual. then i searched my bed to look for my specs. but it wasn't there. so i looked at my ever-trashed desk, where i last put my specs before i went to bed the night before. it's not there. then i went to my locker, hoping that i left it in my piles of clothes, which are making my locker almost in the state of exploding. nasib baik dah nak habis semester.
then i gave up. because my class is going to start in 15 minutes. and campus is 15 minutes away from the hostel. and i am still in my room in the fourth floor. so i had to rush. thank goodness i had my emergency pair of contact lenses (ye ke emergency? of course! those lenses were bought before my course dinner last month. since it's not expired until next week, so i call it my emergency lenses.). if not, i would be a practically-visually-impaired person, not recognzing anyone along my way, and helpless in the class because i won't be able to see my lecturer's slides. buying contacts have its benefits after all, eventhough i had originally hated wearing it because i have just started wearing them after i enrolled to UMT (for sports purposes only).
in class, i texted my roomates, informing them about my missing glasses.
both had promised to help me look for them after they returned from their respective classes.

at noon, my cell blinked. it was a message from my roomate, wani.

'bdk kecik.. aku dh jumpe dh..'

phew! nasib baik jumpa. kalau tak, tak tahu la. takkan nak beli spek baru kut? spek tu dah la baru beli. sayang ouh.

when i returned to my room, my spectacles was already on my bed. thank you!!!! aaaaahhhh!!!
i was alone in the room, so i get to scream my lungs out. cehh, tak pasal-pasal.

when both my roomates returned (they were attending a meeting together before that), i quickly asked wani where she found it. and she said, "aku jumpa dalam loker kau la sayang." then i said, "tipu ni. aku dah cari banyak kali dalam loker tu. tak jumpa pun.". then my other roomate, milah, added, "memang la kau tak jumpa sayang oi, kau kan rabun." then there were a roar of laughs. kesian saya. kena gelak lagi. banyak kali dah kena ni. adoih.
