let's shop!

situation - at the carpark
daughter: oh dad, why are there so many cars in the mall today?
father: it's the last day of a sale. figures.
[i say, what's with the last day of sale? it's not any different from other days. the price cut will still be the same, won't they?]

situation - at the footwear department
mother: ooh, i want this lovely shoe! but this sample is not my size. and there's no one who can help me to find my right size. what should i do?
daughter: don't you worry, for i am here! i'll be your inexperienced promoter. well now, let's see.. what size are you wearing?
mother: a 36.
daughter: all right then. dad, come help me out.
father: okay okay.
(father and daughter trashes the pile of shoes under some samples to find mother's wanted shoe)
daughter: aww, dad. it's not here. down here are all the super-expensive-with-no-price-reduction shoes!
father: yep. so much for being inexperienced, eh?
daughter: haha. yeah.
mother: hurry up and go hide all the boxes of shoes you have trashed, before someone sees you! i've changed my mind, let's go and see other things.
[i say, advice for shopping mall operators: please provide at least one promoter in all racks of your department store whenever it is the last day of a sale. or else you are going to experience a huge loss of profit.]

situation - at the garments department
daughter: okay, i want this shirt. i'll go and pay.
mother: allright.
daughter: uh, wait a minute. i see a lot of cashiers, but none of it is occupied. how am i suppose to pay?
mother: oh, there's one. *points to a super-crowded cashier*
father: forget it. you're paying at the make-up department's counter. move along now.
[i say, another friendly advice: when you know that your mall is going to be crowded that day, please provide sufficient amount of counter so your customers won't have to grumble so much. after all, customers are always the best. freeze all your employees' off day if you must.]

situation - at the garments department (again)
(daughter had already tried onsome clothes and is ready to pay up. the cashier had already scanned and ready to receive payment)
daughter 1: *eyes suddenly caught on something* mum!!! that's the vest i've always wanted right over there!!! sister dear, would you please mind my clothes here and pay for it? here's the money. i want to go and see that vest. *runs to a rack of clothes*
daughter 2: uh, okay.
daughter 1: *runs back to the counter* oh mummy, i love that vest!! can i have it pretty please?
mother: too bad then. you'll just have to wait for another sale. we're leaving in 5 minutes.
daughter 1: *grumbles* darn. why do i always see the very best at the very end? aaaaawwwww..
[i say, tip to shop: take a walk at all places in the mall before you finally decide to purchase something)

situation - at the cashier counter
cashier: the total is RM70, sir.
customer 1: *pulls out a credit card* here you go.
customer 2: *peeks into customer 1's wallet and saw a lot of RM50's* haih.
[i say, what's so great with credit cards? is it so wrong to use your own money instead of a bank's plastic cash when you have a sufficient amount of money in hand?]
