my biological clock woke me up at 8.12 today, because i had to attend a paperwork presentation by my linear programming lecturer at psnz ausitorium. simply because he just had to make this seminar a 5% attendance mark to us.
as if we had all mastered his subjects.
how on earth does he expect us to understand something even deeper than what he is teaching us?
statistics, i get it.
optimization, you will catch me sleeping halfway through the presentation.
and all the new methods and formulas being presented.
are we supposed to understand all that?
are we destined to change formulas and math history all the time?
thank goodness i had a meeting at 11. so i get to escape early. but what i had find out, majority of my friends just left the auditorium before the seminar ended. just like that. they just do not get it, as simple as that. and we had all decided not to proceed and go for the second part in the evening, attendance or no attendance. why come when you are 100% sure you will not get any benefits from the activity. it would be better to surf the internet freely and not show up in the auditorium rather than being rude to the speaker by surfing the internet in plain sight of the auditorium [which was what most of my classmates did. they brought in their laptops and start facebooking, totally ignoring the speaker. i feel bad for them].
i wonder what might happen tomorrow. the seminar was supposed to be for two days. and two days compulsory of attendance for us. and tomorrow is no holiday. will he still force us to attend, baiting all of us with the irresistible attendance mark?
