two-oh. and merdeka.

this year's birthday is the most boring ever. period.
everyone seems to be hyped up with the raya holidays and all, and i was lonely.
seriously lonely, i can tell you that.
though people made me smile with their warm wishes, but a part of me was still empty.
even i don't know why.
maybe because of the fact that i'm no longer aged in teens. maybe.
so, my birthday was filled with a test and classes. nothing more and nothing else.
what a sad way to celebrate.
first time with no cake appearance. sad. i'll bake one myself when i get back in kL, okay. just to satisfy my self-indulgence. purely on self-indulgence.

by now, almost half the population of universiti malaysia terengganu are gone. away for their raya holidays.
yet i'm still here, striving to finish my yet-to-be-completed project proposal.
but everything else had been (neatly) packed and ready to leave.
oh september 3rd, please arrive soon. can't wait to be home and start the raya hype!
now i'm still not in the mood, due to all the stress and the loneliness.
