today, the students of B.Sc (Financial Mathematics), Class of 2010/2011 mourned for the death of stella, our fellow classmate. she was involved in a car accident and was in a coma state prior to her death.
she was only a coursemate to me, nothing more. she was shy, and so am i. but, as my friends and i enter the forensic unit of HSNZ, kuala terengganu to pay our last respects, i actually felt the sadness of losing a friend. although we were of different religions, races and cultures. i mean, if i can feel that way, her family and close friends must be thousand times more sad than i am.
just less than a month before, we had our course annual dinner. the happy times.
and now this happened.
i saw her dad checking her belongings that was just brought to him from her hostel room, and i saw the frame of the FST dean's list award. that had belonged to her. she received the award just days before the accident.
ajal tidak menunggu kita. bila-bila masa kita boleh pergi.
to stella's family, i'm sorry for your loss.
